Julia Hu - Vocal Instructor

In the fall of 2019, our Performance Academy continued to expand our teaching staff, looking for instructors that could teach multiple instruments and voice. Julia "J" Hu was recommended to us by one of our tenured instructors Cameron Herren. Her ability to teach voice, guitar, piano, and ukulele was just what we were looking for, and Julia joined our teaching staff early fall of 2019.

 

 

Julia works well with ages 8 to 16. Her teaching environment is energetic and encouraging. She offers beginning guitar, piano, and ukulele lessons, as well as beginning to intermediate voice instruction that concentrates on exploring the versatility of voice and maintaining vocal health.

Julia graduated Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree, where she participated in a 3 year private tutoring program. Julia’s live performance experience spans well over 10 years and includes an appearance on an International version of "The Voice".

 

Julia is available for lessons on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
